We are urgently seeking an experienced Telehandler Driver with a Suspended Loads attachment ticket to provide short‑term cover on a busy new build housing development in Newcastle.
This is a specific cover role requiring a highly skilled operator to safely handle non‑standard lifts alongside daily site duties.

Key Responsibilities
- Operating a telescopic handler safely and efficiently around a live housing site.
- Utilising the suspended loads attachment to lift, move, and position materials (such as roof trusses or floor packs) according to the site lifting plan.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Distributing traditional building materials to various plots to keep trades moving.
- Conducting daily vehicle safety inspections and pre‑lift checks.
- Working closely with the Site Manager and banksmen to maintain strict health and safety standards.
Requirements
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Card with both the Telescopic Handler category and the Suspended Loads endorsement (Essential).
- Proven experience operating a telehandler on new build housing sites.
- Full PPE (Hard hat, high‑vis jacket/vest, and steel toe cap boots).
- A safety‑first approach with excellent knowledge of lifting plans and weight limits.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong communication skills and reliability.
