The Role
- Leading the technical delivery of complex geotechnical engineering projects
- Providing expert advice on foundations, retaining structures, slope stability, and ground investigation strategies
- Managing and reviewing geotechnical interpretative reports and design packages
- Developing and maintaining key client relationships
- Supporting business development, tenders, and framework opportunities
- Mentoring and developing geotechnical engineers and engineering geologists
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams across large development and infrastructure schemes
- Supporting the strategic growth of the geotechnical division
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology, or a related discipline
- Chartered status (CEng or CGeol) essential
- Extensive experience within geotechnical consultancy
- Strong technical background in geotechnical design and ground engineering
- Proven leadership and project management experience
- Strong client-facing and business development skills
