Are you a Water Resource specialist who is keen to manage and grow a team, based in Bradford? Flexible working available with up to four days from home.

Applicants are required to have a BSc or MSc in a related discipline including Geography, Environmental Science or Environmental Management and vast experience spanning Water Supply, Water Resource Assessments, Water Resource Planning and Drought Plans. Candidates are required to have experience in business cost modelling and managing projects and teams. You will also be required to have a valid driving licence.

As a Water Resource Team Leader, you will have the opportunity to manage a team, mentor team members, manage projects, and complete, check, and amend varied Water Resources, Water Quality, Pollution, and Drought Plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead Water Resource and Drought Planning and implementation of strategies ensuring compliance.
  • Business cost modelling.
  • Assess and monitor performance of water resource management plans.
  • Lead implementation of drought plans and monitor performance.
  • Conduct audits and annual reviews of strategies.
  • Ensure water resource planning is aligned with catchment and water network strategies.
  • Perform Water Supply Risk Assessments.
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders and external organisations.
  • Produce bids, tenders, and compelling business cases.
  • Conduct site visits across the local area.
