About The Role
Ready to lead with purpose and make a real difference? Join The Forward Trust as a Team Leader based at HMP/YOI Bronzefield in Ashford (35 hours per week, including weekend rota). You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering trauma-informed, gender-responsive substance misuse services within a dynamic women’s prison, supporting individuals on their journey to recovery and reintegration. Please note: Level 2 vetting clearance is required prior to starting in post.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team delivering high‑quality interventions
- Hold a caseload, facilitating 1:1 and group programmes
- Complete assessments and shape personalised treatment and release plans
- Provide supervision, coaching, and performance support to practitioners
- Collaborate across prison, healthcare, and mental health services
- Ensure delivery meets CQC standards, KPIs, and contractual targets
- Step in to oversee service delivery in the absence of the Service Manager

All prison‑based roles are subject to enhanced DBS checks and HMPPS security vetting. These checks can take up to 5 months to complete. Any offer of employment will be conditional upon the successful completion of both checks. Please note if you have lived overseas within the last 5 years then checks may take longer. As part of the interview stage, candidates will be required to deliver a short presentation (up to 10 minutes). Further details will be provided in advance, along with the job description to support your preparation.
