We are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to work within secondary school environments. This is a chance to join schools with a strong community heart, helping students aged 11‑16 overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals.

Locations: North Liverpool (Walton, Anfield, Everton, Fazakerley, Kirkdale, and Bootle)

Roles: Flexible options (Full‑time, Part‑time, day‑to‑day or Long‑term cover)

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 or small group support to help students master difficult subjects.
  • Assist the class teacher in managing classroom behaviour and keeping students on task.
  • Adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students.
  • Supervise students during practical lessons and experiments to ensure safety.
  • Keep a close eye on student progress and provide simple, encouraging feedback.
  • Prepare the classroom environment and resources before each lesson begins.
  • Act as a reliable mentor and positive role model for teenagers.
  • Support the schools pastoral team in ensuring student well‑being and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with teenagers (coaching, mentoring, or youth work).
  • A firm but fair approach with excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to adapt quickly to different subject areas and classrooms.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness for one).
