Randstad Education is recruiting enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistants to support pupils with special educational needs (SEN) across primary, secondary, and specialist settings in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to work one:to:one or in small groups, helping children build confidence, independence, and academic progress. Preferred Skills Experience working with children or young people (ideally in an SEN setting) A calm, adaptable, and nurturing attitude Excellent communication and teamwork skills A genuine passion for supporting children with learning differences Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness ) Right to work in the UK and references from recent roles Key Responsibilities Provide tailored support to children with a range of SEN, including ASD, SLD, SEMH, and PMLD Assist the teacher with planning and delivery of lessons Encourage student engagement through positive reinforcement and inclusive strategies Support personal care or mobility needs where required (training can be provided) Promote a safe and supportive learning environment Build meaningful relationships with pupils, families, and staff Role Details Start Date: Ongoing and September 2025 starts available Working Hours: Full:time and part:time roles available Settings: Mainstream and specialist schools Why Join Us?
