About The Role

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification.
- Enhanced DBS: A valid Enhanced DBS clearance registered on the Update Service (or a willingness for one).
- Safeguarding Knowledge: Up-to-date training and a deep commitment to modern safeguarding principles and child protection procedures.
- Eligibility to Work: Valid legal entitlement to work full-time in the UK.

- Data-Driven Intervention: Ability to analyse student performance metrics to implement targeted academic support.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, engaging Food Technology lessons that align with the national curriculum and exam board specifications.
- Practical Lesson Management: Oversee and manage all live cooking elements of the class, ensuring students execute culinary techniques safely and efficiently.
- Academic Assessment: Implement structured feedback routines, including the school\'s modelled examples, to secure long-term knowledge retention.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and risk assessment protocols within the food room, aligned with standard school safety regulations.
