Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Enhanced Child DBS on the updated service (Willingness for one)

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging English lessons to a high standard.

• Assessing, marking, and providing constructive feedback on student work.
• Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those with SEND.
• Monitoring and tracking student progress to ensure all students achieve their full potential.
• Maintaining accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance.
• Collaborating with colleagues in the English department and across the school.
• Participating in school meetings, professional development, and training as required.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and positively.
• Communicating with parents and guardians about student performance and progress.
