About the role
The Commissioning Engineer will work in a varied and technically challenging role, joining a well-established company with a global reputation during a busy growth period. The position involves commissioning, installing, and troubleshooting automated machinery on a global basis.
Responsibilities
- Commission, install, and troubleshoot automated machinery.
- Spend approximately 50% of time based at the Taunton site and 50% visiting customer sites worldwide.
- Travel may require up to two weeks away at a time; all expenses are covered.
Qualifications
- Experience commissioning automated machinery.
- HNC (or equivalent) in electrical engineering (or related discipline).
- Knowledge of PLC fault finding.
- Background from any industry involving industrial machinery.
