Hawk3 Talent Solutions is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and driven Production Manager to lead a high-performing manufacturing team in Wiltshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a pivotal leadership role where you will oversee a well-structured team comprising 4 Team Leaders, an Assembly Manager, an Evening Shift Leader, a Production Planner, and around 30 skilled production staff. The Role

As Production Manager, you’ll be at the heart of operations: ensuring production runs efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll lead from the front, supporting your team while also driving continuous improvement and long-term performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and coordinating daily production across both shifts
  • Ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining exceptional quality standards
  • Owning and improving production efficiency through smart planning and leadership
  • Managing and adapting production plans to meet changing customer demands
  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing Team Leaders and wider production teams
  • Driving performance through KPI tracking and clear communication
  • Promoting a strong culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
  • Conducting team meetings, inductions, appraisals, and disciplinary processes as needed
  • Managing attendance, timekeeping, and payroll accuracy
  • Overseeing health and safety compliance, safe working practices, and PPE adherence
  • Creating quality alerts and driving problem-solving initiatives across the floor
  • Reporting weekly machine performance and cascading insights through teams
