Our globally renowned and respected client has been established for 60 years and specialises in the design, manufacture and support of bespoke in vitro diagnostic solutions for supply throughout the world.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Install, service, repair and provide technical support for automated laboratory equipment used in Clinical and Industrial markets across the Swindon/Oxfordshire region.
  • Perform planned preventative service, reactive repair and technical support activities in hospitals, laboratories and major FMCG clients.
  • Manage vehicle stock inventory efficiently and within guidelines, ensure timely completion of activities, maintain accurate documentation.
  • Attend training courses locally or elsewhere to maintain knowledge and keep updated on industry developments.
  • Assist with project work as required to meet deadlines and provide on‑call support as part of the Service Team rota.
  • Comply with company policies, Health & Safety at Work, SSOW and other relevant regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Live in or around Oxford area, hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Qualified to at least ONC level or above in a relevant Electrical / Electronic Engineering discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a comparable service or maintenance environment, laboratory or medical equipment experience highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, customer service skills at all levels.
