The Opportunity: Randstad is currently seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to support our partner primary schools across Horsham, Crawley and surrounding areas. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about education and committed to fostering a positive learning environment for pupils aged 4‑11.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven Experience: Minimum 6 months experience working with children in a school, nursery, youth club, or coaching capacity.
  • Compliance: A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness for one).
  • References: Ability to provide two professional references.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills and a patient, adaptable approach to student needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support for Literacy and Numeracy interventions.
  • Assisting the Class Teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management.
  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEND) where required.
  • Promoting a safe, inclusive, and engaging atmosphere for all learners.
