Job Summary: The Clinical Editor plays a key role in supporting the growth of the business, reporting to the Operations Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-driven editor to take ownership of proofreading and refining clinical reports, ensuring they are accurate, consistent and delivered to an exceptional professional standard. This is a fully remote role, offering A GBP 19.50 per hour (paid monthly in arrears), with a minimum of 10 hours per week and flexibility around working hours. There is potential for additional hours, although this is not guaranteed. An immediate start is available. You will edit reports produced by Occupational Therapists, ranging from shorter reviews to detailed assessments of 90+ pages.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Review and edit clinical reports following assessments and annual reviews, ensuring a high standard before issue
- Work across both detailed assessment reports and shorter review documents
- Ensure consistency in formatting, structure, tone and language
- Manage documents through workflow stages, meeting strict deadlines
- Liaise with internal teams and provide clear, constructive feedback to clinicians
Qualifications and Skills:
- Advanced Microsoft Word skills (formatting, track changes, document layout, tables, headers/footers)
- Exceptional attention to detail, spotting even minor errors
- Excellent grammar, spelling and written English
- Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines
- Ability to maintain consistency and follow structured style guidelines
- Professional and sensitive approach to language
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and SharePoint
