Support Worker

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Support Worker to work in an exceptional nursing home based in Northwich, Cheshire. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading health care providers.

This special nursing home provides nursing care, dementia care, residential care, respite and short stay care, as well as end of life care.

To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.

Key Duties

• Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well‑being and providing the highest quality of care to residents.
• Assist with daily tasks, inclusive of all personal care assistance from supporting with personal hygiene, through to days out and companionship.
• Encourage independence, well‑being and support vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities.
• Ensure accurate record keeping at all times.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Have a genuine desire to care for others.
• A good team player.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to show a can‑do attitude always.

Benefits and Pay

The successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of GBP12.60 per hour, annual salary of GBP23,587.20 per annum.
