Your role in the KS2 classroom
- Deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons in Years 3–6 across the full national curriculum.
- Promote independent learning and critical thinking in older primary pupils.
- Establish clear boundaries and manage classroom behaviour quickly using positive reinforcement strategies.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and hand over detailed, concise notes at the end of the day for the returning teacher.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching within a UK Key Stage 2 environment.
- Strong subject knowledge across core upper‑primary subjects.
- Enhanced DBS check registered on the update service (or willingness to obtain one through Randstad).
- The right to work in the UK.
