FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER (North) – Covering Leeds, Manchester and Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: GBP 37k + generous benefits
Our client is a market leader in the Security Systems Integration sector, with almost 50 years experience of delivering security solutions for high-security, public space, transport, and infrastructure projects throughout the UK and Ireland.
They are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer (ideally based in or around the Stoke-on-Trent area) to complement their established and successful team. You will handle daily fault requests, PPM duties and out-of-hours reactive duties for large-scale, high-end integrated systems from a broad client base and manage daily tasks involved in keeping an important site safe and secure.
With a flexible approach to travel and a can-do attitude to ensure the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction, you will work as part of a team of engineers who work remotely but can provide guidance and support when required with their strong technical background. The position is ideal for someone seeking a varied, dynamic role dealing with large-scale systems incorporating new technologies within a demanding customer base.
Responsibilities
- Providing a reliable, courteous, efficient, and effective service while maintaining a positive image of the company to the customer, through high standards of dress and customer communications, and after successful completion of each service, updating the helpdesk with the call status.
- Providing day-to-day planned preventative and reactive maintenance and repair of the complex analogue and digital CCTV systems on a high-security site across the Manchester, Stoke-on-Trent and Leeds region (security clearance will need to be obtained), as well as associated functional and managed control rooms and multi-site Access Control Systems and Perimeter Detection Systems.
Qualifications
To be considered for this opportunity, the successful Field Service Engineer candidate should demonstrate knowledge of CCTV, IT and PID systems on varying scales, as well as Access Control systems with Site Mustering and DVR and NVR systems. Knowledge or experience of PIDs, Galaxy Alarms, Cortech GUI, CEM, C-Cure and Gallagher Access Control systems, Synergy, Milestone, Video Matrix Systems, IP Systems and Networks and RAID Recording will be advantageous.
