Randstad Education is actively recruiting a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join the team at a vibrant nursery located in the Steyning area of West Sussex.

Role Information and Benefits

  • Hours: Full‑time, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Schedule: 5 days a week

Your Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and age‑appropriate educational activities in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Act as the designated Key Person for a group of children, monitoring their progress and maintaining accurate developmental records.
  • Establish positive and productive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ensure the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and welfare are maintained at all times.
  • Observe, assess, and document children’s learning and development.

Essential Requirements

  • Recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent such as NNEB, or NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development).
  • Recent, relevant experience working within a formal early years setting (nursery or pre‑school).
  • Excellent knowledge and practical understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Strong verbal communication, written skills, and good organisational abilities.
  • A genuine commitment to working with young children and supporting their holistic development.
