Randstad Education is actively recruiting a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join the team at a vibrant nursery located in the Steyning area of West Sussex.
Role Information and Benefits
- Role: Level 3 Nursery Practitioner
- Location: Steyning, West Sussex
- Hours: Full‑time, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Schedule: 5 days a week
- Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience and qualifications

Your Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and age‑appropriate educational activities in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Act as the designated Key Person for a group of children, monitoring their progress and maintaining accurate developmental records.
- Establish positive and productive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ensure the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and welfare are maintained at all times.
- Observe, assess, and document children’s learning and development.
Essential Requirements
- Recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent such as NNEB, or NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development).
- Recent, relevant experience working within a formal early years setting (nursery or pre‑school).
- Excellent knowledge and practical understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Strong verbal communication, written skills, and good organisational abilities.
- A genuine commitment to working with young children and supporting their holistic development.
