An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Mental Health Nurse to work in an exceptional hospital setting based in the Dewsbury, West Yorkshire area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers. This hospital provides a specialist inpatient service for adults and older age males with severe and enduring mental health conditions, who may also have an undiagnosed memory related illness. Our client also provides a specialist neuro-cognitive and dementia care service for males presenting with very agitated or aggressive behaviour.
To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMHN) with a current active NMC Pin.
Your Key Duties Will Include:
- Ensuring the highest possible standards of care
- Assessing residents' needs and wishes
- Developing services to enhance their quality of life
- Championing appropriate independence and personal choice
- Developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet the residents' physical, social and psychological needs
- Overseeing all aspects of medicine management on your shift
- Ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered, in accordance with company policies and current legislation
- Building the positive reputation of the Business
- Liaising professionally with visitors and other external stakeholders

- Able to communicate effectively and to develop professional relationships
- The ability to lead a team, analyse problems and propose solutions or improvements
- Respectful of the values, views and needs of others
- People Management experience
- Experience of participating in quality and clinical governance programmes

The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of GBP32,593 - GBP37,211 per annum. We currently have permanent vacancies for both days and night shifts available. In return for your hard work and dedication you will receive the following generous benefits:
