The position is suitable for candidates located in Southampton, Portsmouth, Bournemouth, Bath, Swindon, Reading, Andover, Basingstoke, Guildford, Worthing, Salisbury, Yeovil, Poole, or Glastonbury.

Basic Salary: £40,000 – £44,000

Your Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical advice and support for distributors, trade partners and end users.
  • Account management and business development: understand customers’ business, SWOT, performance and implement growth plans.
  • Ensure a comprehensive contact and network strategy is in place with each customer.
  • Prioritise time to maximise reward through investment and effort.
  • Work with cross‑functional teams to further support and develop each account.
  • Maximise existing relationships and network to your full potential.

Person Specification:

  • Sales or technical specialist experience in chemicals, adhesives, epoxies, composites or related markets.
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable interacting with technical/design and business‑owner stakeholders.
  • Account management experience with commercial astuteness and basic P&L understanding.
  • Driven to increase market share and continuously seek new growth opportunities.
  • Team‑player with cross‑functional collaboration experience.
  • Self‑starter with energy, tenacity and a can‑do attitude.
