Job Role
Sous Chef – High‑volume branded restaurant group, East London.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily kitchen operations in a fast‑paced high‑volume environment
- Lead and mentor a team of 15–20 chefs and kitchen staff
- Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation across 100+ covers
- Handle back‑of‑house administration, ordering, and stock control
- Collaborate with group systems and ordering platforms to streamline kitchen workflow
Qualifications
- Proven experience in casual dining at high volume, managing large teams
- Background handling weekly sales of £45k–£55k
- Strong people skills – mentor junior chefs and build a high‑performing team
- Understanding of group systems, ordering, and stock control
- Knowledgeable on back‑of‑house administration and kitchen workflow
