Benjamin Edwards are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a well-established and highly successful business. Following an internal promotion, this opportunity has arisen for an ambitious finance professional to join a dynamic and fast-moving organisation. As Management Accountant, you will be working closely with the wider finance team and will take ownership of monthly reporting processes and support the ongoing development of financial systems and controls across the business.

The role of the Management Accountant:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial analysis
  • Producing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Managing accruals, prepayments and fixed asset reporting
  • Assisting with year-end audit preparation and liaising with external auditors
  • Preparing operational sales and commission reporting
  • Supporting regulatory and compliance reporting requirements
  • Contributing to finance process improvements and reporting enhancements
  • Providing additional commercial and financial reporting support where required

The ideal candidate for the role of Management Accountant:

  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or part qualified, although experienced QBE applicants may also be considered
  • Previous experience within a management accounting or similar finance role
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
