Location: Shepton Mallet, Somerset
Salary: GBP48,000 – GBP50,000
Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off days and nights

Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products whose quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong order book, investment going into the factory and growth into various export markets, they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team.
Role And Responsibilities
- Planned maintenance inspections, review parts used
- Recommend improvements in line with projects and maintenance schedules, carry out safety checks on range of equipment
- Monitor plant conditions, report defects, repair of machinery
- Generate and maintain compliance to SOPs, risk assessments
- Report on plant performance using systems, ensure action on non-conformance issues
- Working on a range of valves and pumps
- Supporting production and continuous improvement projects
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
- Formal Engineering Qualification: C and G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship trained
- Continuous improvement knowledge
- Strong knowledge of good engineering standards
- Experience in food, packaging, drink, manufacturing environments
