Role: Account Manager
Reporting to: Company Director
Salary: A GBP 36,686 p/annum
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm and Friday 8am – 4pm plus one Saturday a month 8am – 12pm.
Job Purpose: To supervise the sales administration teams' daily tasks and serve as a point of escalation for any queries about their day‐to‐day activities. To support and help the Company Directors with day‐to‐day operational responsibilities to ensure the business runs smoothly and efficiently. To act as a point of contact for all account customer enquiries.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met while continuously identifying opportunities to expand existing accounts and develop new business.
- Manage a portfolio of clients, proactively addressing challenges and resolving issues with a solution‐focused approach.
- Analyse client performance, identify gaps or risks, and collaborate with internal teams to implement effective improvements.
- Diagnose problems, think critically, and deliver timely, practical solutions to maintain high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Drive revenue growth by expanding relationships with existing clients, identifying upselling and cross‐selling opportunities, and presenting tailored solutions that add value.
- Contribute to expanding the customer base by identifying new prospects, building relationships, and converting opportunities into long‐term partnerships.
Qualifications: Commercially minded, proactive, highly adaptable, with strong communication and negotiation skills. Comfortable balancing multiple priorities, using data to inform decisions, and confidently engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
