My client, a specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Urban Drainage Design Engineer to join their new Drainage Design Team in Nottingham. Alternative offices available!
It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in Civil Engineering and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy on water and wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects. Applicants must have experience completing calculations and detailed designs for:
- Pumping Stations
- CSO, shafts and tanks
- Pressure pipes
- SuDS
- Water retaining structures
- Water and wastewater treatment plants
It is also essential for applicants to have experience using Revit, Civils 3D, and Infodrainage for detailed design.
You will join an experienced team to specialize in wastewater non-infrastructure design for Water Companies and Consultancies. You will be expected to complete the following:
- Water and Waste Water Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure Projects
- Detailed Civil Engineering Design including the design of Pumping Station Design, Water and Waste Water Treatment Works, and Water Retaining Structures
- Detailed Design of Pipe Lines, Pressure Pipes, and Combined Sewerage Overflows using Civils 3D and Infodrainage
- Shaft tank design
- Calculations and Reports
- Mentoring Junior Team Members
- Retrofitting SUDS and drainage solutions to remote surface water from existing networks
- Frequent liaison with Local Authorities, Consultancies, and Water Companies
