THE ROLE
My client is a firm of engineering consultants based in the South West London / Surrey borders area.
They are now seeking a SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER who has experience of design and structural analysis across a range of building materials.
Responsibilities
- Use design software such as TSD and Tedds to provide design input for technical drawings, specifications, and materials.
- Prepare and produce technical drawings, specifications, and material selections for a range of projects.
- Work on projects from RIBA Stage 3 through to completion for high-end residential, offices, healthcare, and schools.
- Mentor graduate engineers and collaborate with associates and partners.
- Conduct site inspections and liaise with contractors, consultants, and clients during construction.
- Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience as a structural engineer in a UK consulting firm.
- Chartered or working towards Chartered status (MICE / MIStruct E).
- Experience with design software such as TSD, Tedds, etc.
- Experience in detailed design and structural analysis across a range of materials.
- Full clean UK driving licence.
- Strong communication and liaison skills with contractors, consultants, and clients.
