An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Staff Nurse to work in an exceptional mental health service based in the Ayr, Scotland area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers. This special mental health service is a low secure hospital for males and females with mental illness and/or personality disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed care to a defined group of patients/service users that reflect their individual needs.
- Assess, plan and deliver, with the patient and their carer/family, nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patient's named nurse. This includes the evaluation and review of these plans, with the patient/service user, on a frequent basis, that is reflective of their needs.
- Contribute to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with all members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Build relationships and effectively communicate and engage with external professionals and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Must be qualified as an RMN Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
