What You Will Do:

  • Develop models and run simulation analyses to support system and equipment design decisions.
  • Help validate and derive system and equipment requirements.
  • Build and test system control and monitoring algorithms, supporting performance, safety, and reliability outcomes.
  • Carry out root cause analysis using simulation evidence to identify drivers of technical issues and guide improvements.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation, including model descriptions and analysis reports.
  • Collaborate with technical leads and customers, contributing to proposals and taking ownership of modelling work packages up to technical sign-off.

What You Will Bring:

  • A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline with proven industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental modelling principles and the confidence to apply them in practical engineering scenarios.
  • Experience using MATLAB and Simulink is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write clear technical reports and explain findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Location: This opportunity is predominantly based in the Bristol office, with occasional client site travel and flexibility to work from home for part of the week.
