Our client, an established, stable and successful Mechanical Project and Maintenance specialist with a consistent pipeline of work and a great industry reputation, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to oversee and manage a new commercial construction project in the City of London.
Responsibilities:
- Proactive management of Health and Safety.
- Planning, managing, executing and controlling projects.
- Sole responsibility for budget, programme, quality, supplier and subcontractor management.
- Participate in bid/tender processes.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients.
- Full man management responsibilities.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Educated to HNC/HND/Degree level in Mechanical discipline.
- Demonstrate experience working as a Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager or currently working as a Project Manager from within the building services industry is essential.
- Working within Public Sector Contracts would be an advantage.
- Relevant Health and Safety qualifications such as a SMSTS/ISOH/NEBOSH.
- Experience of delivering projects as the Mechanical Contractor.
- Excellent working knowledge of all MS Office applications.
- To have successful experience in dealing directly with Clients and the public.
- To work on his/her own initiative.
