Role: Senior Control and Electrical Design Engineer
Salary: GBP 50,000: GBP 65,000 per annum (Dependent on experience, please advise what you\’re looking for)
Type: Permanent
Location: Oxfordshire
My engineering client are looking to take on a Senior Control and Electrical Design Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the Oxfordshire area.
The Senior Control and Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
: Be Degree/ HND/ HNC/ NVQ qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar
: 5 years or more of industry experience working in a similar Electrical Controls and Design role
: Be confident carrying out the design and prgramming of control systems for special purpose machinery
: Have hands on electrical panel building and wiring capabilities too
: Be able to use CAD for electrical design work : ideally SolidWorks Electrical but other programmes will be considered
: Good knowledge of machinery design standards and safety standards : EN60204:1 and BS7671
: Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office programmes
: Excellent communication skills
: Flexible to travel as needed as part of the role
The Control Systems Engineer Role Will Involve
: Designing electrical and control systems for special purpose equipment to support development projects
: Programming PLC\’s
: Electrical system design including BOM\’s and component selection
: Providing electrical and controls support for equipment installations
: Some travel will be required both in and out of the UK at manufacturing plants
: Ensuring company standards are always adhered to
: Working on automation solutions
: Creating schematics, briefs, design, commissioning and validation
: Working within a team of other Electrical Engineers
