As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will lead drainage and highway designs across residential developments nationwide, supporting projects from planning through to technical approval and construction. The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will manage workload, delegate to junior staff and coordinate directly with clients and local authorities. This role suits someone confident delivering S38, S278 and S104 approvals while maintaining quality and programme control.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver drainage and highway designs for residential schemes
- Secure S38, S278 and S104 technical approvals
- Produce planning submission packs and groundworks packages
- Use Flow or MicroDrainage with Causeway PDS or Civil 3D
- Manage project deadlines, resources and quality assurance
Candidate Requirements
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or similar
- Minimum five years UK consultancy experience
- Strong knowledge of drainage, flood risk and highways standards
- Proven experience preparing technical submissions
- Confident managing projects and mentoring junior staff
