We are looking for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join the finance team on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. Our client is a highly regarded and award-winning financial services firm.
Responsibilities:
- Processing sales and purchase invoices in Sage
- Bank, sales and purchase ledger reconciliations
- Commission statement processing
- Posting journals, accruals and prepayments
- Management accounts up to the point of review
- Assisting with VAT returns and monthly reporting
- Maintaining accurate financial records in Sage and Excel
About You:
- A level education (or equivalent)
- Ideally be AAT qualified or Part-qualified CIMA or ACCA
- 3+ years experience in a similar finance role
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
Salary and Benefits:
- GBP 30,000 – GBP 40,000 depending on experience
