Our client is a market-leading startup. They are the only company currently able to provide a full AI-driven solution to their market. They are looking for a developer to take ownership of the LiDAR room scanning journey. This role is critical to improving scan quality, 3D model accuracy, and overall stability of the LiDAR:to:portal pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Own and improve the end-to-end LiDAR scan journey, for mobile capture.
- Work on 3D room reconstruction using LiDAR data and render accurate models.
- Identify, fix, and proactively improve issues in existing LiDAR and 3D implementations.
- Take responsibility for ongoing improvements without relying on legacy ownership.
Qualifications
- Strong experience building mobile applications that use LiDAR.
- Hands-on experience with Apple's RoomPlan / ARKit / LiDAR APIs.
- Experience capturing spatial data and turning it into usable 3D room models.
- Strong Swift / iOS experience (especially for native LiDAR workflows).
- Experience working with React Native, including bridging native modules.
- Understanding of 3D rendering concepts and working with 3D engines (e.g. Three.js / similar).
