The core focus of this position is to lead and support the daily learning and development of our children while maintaining excellent standards of care. As a qualified practitioner, you will act as a Key Person, building strong relationships with families, tracking children’s progress, and implementing the EYFS framework to help every child reach their full potential.
Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Full Time)

The Ideal Candidate
- Qualifications: Holds a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent).
- Knowledge: A strong understanding of the EYFS statutory framework, child development, and observation/assessment processes.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong team-working abilities, and a positive, solution-focused attitude.
- Commitment: Fully dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with a robust understanding of safeguarding procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Key Person Duties: Oversee a designated group of children, tracking their development, updating learning journals, and writing progress reports.
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan and implement creative, age-appropriate, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS.
- High Quality Care: Provide excellent general care, supervision, and support with personal care and mealtime routines.
- Partnership with Parents: Maintain open, professional communication with parents and carers to provide daily feedback on their child’s day.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment, strictly adhering to health and safety and safeguarding policies.
