Salary

GBP 30,000 – 35,000 per annum

Employment Type

Permanent, office based

Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 17:30 (flexible) with occasional Saturday work and late night shift during the summer months. These additional hours are paid in addition to the basic salary.

Commuting

Suitable for candidates commuting from Selby, York, Leeds, Castleford, Pontefract, Garforth, Wetherby or Tadcaster

Role Overview

This role requires a bright, flexible and enthusiastic individual who will be pivotal in the smooth running of the sales department. Confident in sales related administration, you will ensure we maintain a quality service for our customers. You will be expected to assist other members of staff and departments as and when required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team by managing enquiries, preparing quotations, following up with clients, and handling sales administration.
  • Communicate with customers via phone and email while maintaining internal records and spreadsheets.
  • Assist with marketing content and contribute to securing long‑term client agreements.
  • Coordinate live event projects by preparing documentation, arranging logistics, and liaising with clients, crew, and operations teams.
  • Manage project administration including RAMS, health and safety documentation, plant hire, travel, and accommodation bookings.
  • Support the successful delivery of projects by monitoring budgets, coordinating additional client requirements, and ensuring deadlines were met.

Experience and Skills Required

  • Strong customer service skills, organisation and time management skills.
  • Strong accuracy, good numeracy and attention to detail for precise data entry.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Good working knowledge of computers, Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, create own deadlines and manage workload.
