An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially driven Sales and Marketing Director to join a forward-thinking hospitality and contract catering business. This is a sales-led leadership role with a strong focus on driving new business, building relationships, and leading a high-performing commercial team, while also overseeing the wider marketing function. This role is heavily weighted towards sales (around a 70/30 split), so we are looking for someone with a proven track record in business development, client growth, and strategic partnerships, with exposure to marketing rather than a pure marketing specialist.
The Sales and Marketing Director role:
- Lead and deliver a commercially focused sales strategy to drive revenue growth across the business
- Develop and maintain strong B2B relationships across corporate, events, and hospitality sectors
- Identify and convert new business opportunities while maximising existing client relationships
- Oversee the marketing strategy to ensure campaigns support sales objectives and overall brand growth
- Drive partnerships, activations, and strategic collaborations to increase brand presence and revenue
- Analyse sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends to shape future commercial strategy
About You:
- Strong background in sales leadership within hospitality, catering, events, or related sectors
- Experience working within smaller, forward-thinking, entrepreneurial businesses
- Comfortable operating in founder-led environments where adaptability and initiative are key
- Proven track record of driving B2B sales growth and developing long-term client partnerships
- Exposure to marketing strategy and campaign oversight
- Commercially astute with strong understanding of budgets, revenue growth, and ROI
- Hands-on, energetic, and confident operating in a fast-paced environment
- A natural relationship builder with strong communication and leadership skills
