Hours: 39 hours per week working rotating shifts

This role will be joining the Press Shop department. Join a fast-paced Press Shop environment as a Manufacturing Supervisor, taking responsibility for leading operational teams to deliver outstanding quality, safety, and production performance. This role is pivotal in supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring processes are followed, teams are developed, and customer expectations are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities Of The Manufacturing Supervisor

  • Must have experience working in a press shop environment and operating a Press machine
  • Experience operating mechanical, hydraulic, or servo presses safely and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of metal stamping, pressing, and forming processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to operational teams.
  • Act as the main point of contact for production activities and key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate workforce deployment, machine utilisation, and shift resources.
  • Lead shift handovers and maintain accurate operational records.
  • Ensure work is completed in line with procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
  • Promote compliance with health, safety, environmental, and 6S requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
  • Support employee development through training and coaching.
  • Investigate operational issues, implement corrective actions, and escalate where necessary.
  • Monitor attendance, timekeeping, and overall team performance.
  • Conduct investigations and produce reports when required.
  • Maintain clear communication across teams to support operational success.

Hours And Pay

Hours: 39 hours per week

Pay: A GBP 18.34 per hour + shift allowance

Rotating Fortnightly Shifts:

  • Monday to Thursday 06.00am - 14.00pm (8 hours per day)
  • Friday 06.00am - 13.00pm (7 hours per day)
  • Monday to Thursday 14.00pm - 22.00pm (8 hours per day)
  • Friday 13.00pm - 20.00pm (7 hours per day)
