Responsibilities
- Interpret technical drawings and plan route cards to produce components within routed timeframes.
- Operate gear manufacturing CNC machines such as Gleason GP300 ES Shaping Machine, Gleason Pfauter 200 Hobbing Machine, and Liebherr LC20 Hobbing Machine.
- Cut and shape key components such as spur gears, helical gears, and splines ensuring accuracy, quality, and a right‑first‑time philosophy.
- Read, understand, and edit CNC programmes, modifying speeds and feeds as necessary.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experienced in gear cutting with significant hands‑on experience operating shaping and hobbing CNC machines.
- Proactive and innovative approach to problem solving.
- Knowledge of gear manufacturing processes and CNC programming.
