About The Role
An established roofing contractor is seeking an experienced Roofing Surveyor to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable professional to play a key role in delivering high:quality roofing services across a range of projects.Working throughout the North West.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out on:site surveys and provide professional technical advice
- Produce detailed survey reports, designs, and specifications to company standards
- Support site operatives and resolve technical and workmanship issues
- Assist with complaint investigations and contractor assessments
- Ensure all works comply with British Standards and current building regulations
- Prepare specifications, safety plans, method statements, and risk assessments
Requirements
- Proven experience in roofing and/or construction
- Experience working within social housing environments
- Good understanding of KPIs, SORs, and work:in:progress (WIP) management
- Knowledge of slate, tile, and flat roofing systems
- Competent IT skills, including Word processing and job management software
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem:solving abilities
