Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Safe and efficient operation of a JCB 3CX Backhoe Loader across a busy site footprint.
- Civils and Earthworks: Utilize both the front shovel and rear excavator arm for trenching, loading, backfilling, and material movement.
- Site Mobility: Navigate the wheeled Rubber Duck safely around tight spaces and interfaces with other trades.
- Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-start plant checks and ensure the machine is kept in excellent working order.
Mandatory Requirements
- Tickets: Valid CPCS A12 (180 Excavator / Backhoe Loader) or NPORS equivalent qualification.
- CSCS Compliance: Plant card must carry the CSCS logo.
- Experience: Proven track record operating a 3CX on live civil engineering or commercial construction schemes.
- Logistics: Must be able to commute to Ripon for a 07:30 start.
