Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Manufacturing Operator II to join our production team. In this role, you will primarily work in our dedicated label room printing production labels, managing schedules, and ensuring the highest standards of quality control. This is a fantastic opportunity for an upbeat team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing independent tasks with collaborative teamwork. Full training is provided.
What You Will Do
- Labeling and Scheduling: Print labels based on planning schedules, verify work orders, and prepare materials for the production line.
- Packaging and Quality Control: Pack, weigh, seal, and label containers. Inspect products at each stage to ensure they meet strict quality standards.
- Documentation: Accurately complete production floor paperwork, tracking weights, times, and dates in line with regulatory guidelines.
- Line Clearance: Maintain clean, sanitized work areas and responsibly dispose of or reconcile leftover production materials.
- Equipment Operations: Monitor conveyor speeds and assist with basic equipment verification.
What We Are Looking For
- Education: Secondary education, Advanced Certificate, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or laboratory environment is preferred (school or work-based training both count).
- Tech Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with manufacturing inventory software (like QAD or Agile) is a major plus.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in following written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and completing paperwork.
- Physical Capability: Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
