A well-established food manufacturing company in the Redditch area is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding team, supporting automated production and essential site equipment.
Role And Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on food processing machinery and site services.
- Maintain and repair mechanical systems including pumps, motors, and conveyors.
- Ensure equipment reliability and efficiency while supporting production teams.
- Assist with additional site services, with training provided for boilers, refrigeration, and other systems.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience:
- Mechanical maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Experience with process equipment and conveyors.
- Proactive, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or in a team.
- Welding or electrical skills advantageous but not essential.
