We are looking for a compassionate Recovery Practitioner to deliver person‑centred drug and alcohol support across The Brink, SHARP and partner community hubs in Liverpool. This role involves working directly with individuals and groups, using harm reduction and abstinence‑based approaches to support recovery in community settings.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Deliver 1:1 support, structured group work and motivational interventions
  • Complete assessments, develop care plans and manage a small caseload
  • Provide harm reduction advice, relapse support and recovery planning
  • Prepare and support clients into the SHARP programme where appropriate
  • Signpost, advocate and reduce barriers by linking clients to wider services
  • Encourage engagement with mutual aid, wellbeing and community activities
  • Build strong relationships with partner agencies and professionals
  • Maintain accurate records, monitor progress and support service evaluation
  • Mentor therapeutic volunteers and contribute to service development
