Excellent opportunity to join a leading specialist interiors subcontractor based in Leicester. We provide interior packages for clients across retail, healthcare, gyms, education, and commercial office sectors, with project values ranging from £50k to £4m throughout the UK.
The role involves taking commercial responsibility for contract performance for allocated works to maximise turnover and profitability. You will work with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors across the UK.
Responsibilities- Monitoring retentions and preparing cash flow forecasts.
- Site visits for measurements/estimating and client progress meetings.
- Supplier order placement and negotiation.
- Developing internal processes, systems, and reporting structures to strengthen the QS function.
- Supporting directors in cost‑saving initiatives and department growth.
- Commercially driven with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Capable of working independently while also contributing to the growth of a team.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in quantity surveying.
- Experience in fast‑track schemes with significant change through the contract period.
- Strong interface with internal project teams and commitment to accuracy and quality.
