Our client is a well-established manufacturer that designs and manufactures custom products. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for managing NPI projects from initial concept to final customer approval, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes and assisting with delivering high-quality product output.

Process Engineer Responsibilities

  • Interpret and analyse engineering technical drawings.
  • Manage NPI projects from initial concept through to delivery.
  • Develop and refine manufacturing processes to optimise efficiency and cost.
  • Prepare process documentation such as work instructions, setup sheets, and SOPs.
  • Evaluate and approve tool designs, ensuring alignment with product specifications.
  • Provide technical support for production teams and troubleshoot process related issues.

Process Engineer Requirements

  • Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in process development and project engineering within a manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient in CAD software (beneficial).
  • Experience managing toolmakers and working with external suppliers (desirable).
  • Experience in problem-solving process related issues.
  • Must be a team player.
