The Product Manager will be responsible for:
- Providing expert product advice on machine applications, performance, specifications, and pricing to support sales and customer requirements
- Defining and managing product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with market needs and company goals
- Acting as the business expert on product platforms and competitor offerings, delivering insights to guide sales and marketing decisions
- Supporting strategic machine demonstrations, using measurement tools and productivity data to deliver compelling sales arguments
- Liaising with suppliers and technical teams to assess, design, and approve locally fitted attachments and machine options
The successful Product Manager will have:
- Experience in the Road/Compact/Heavy Plant Equipment sector: essential
- Familiarity with aftermarket processes, systems, and technical tools
- Well organized and systematic in approach to tasks
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Experience with dealerships and hire/rental businesses within the construction equipment sectors covering all requirements across sales, service and operations
