Salary: GBP 35,000 : GBP 40,000 per annum
We are currently seeking a Product Design Engineer to join an established engineering and manufacturing company based in Hemel Hempstead. This role is ideal for someone early in their design career who has already gained valuable post‑graduation industry experience and is ready to develop further within a supportive technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and develop product designs from concept through to manufacture.
- Produce 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
- Maintain and manage design data using PDM systems (PDM Vault experience preferred).
- Support engineering change processes and technical documentation control.
- Work closely with production and project teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.
- Assist with prototype builds, testing, and product improvements.
Skills And Experience Required
- SolidWorks experience is essential.
- Minimum of 1 year post‑graduation industry experience in a technical design role (essential).
- Experience with PDM Vault systems preferred.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
