Hague Group is a thriving, family‑owned business with a strong financial foundation and a history of consistent growth. We are looking for an experienced Print Operator (labels) with a mechanical aptitude to join the Print Production Team at our head office site in Wakefield which houses our label manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Setup, operation and maintenance of the label converting line to ensure high quality label production within required timeframes.
- Installing cutting dies, printing plates and inks.
- Adjust line settings such as speed and tension to meet job specifications.
- Undertake product quality inspections.
- Perform routine line maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating.
- Maintain accurate production records.
Required Candidate Profile
- Has label print experience.
- Has a mechanical aptitude.
- Comfortable using IT and technology.
- Good eye for detail and quality‑focused.
- Safety‑conscious, well‑organised and conscientious.
- Effective team player with good communication skills.
- Always demonstrates a can‑do attitude.
- Able to undertake a role involving extensive manual handling activities.
- Able to work on shifts that fall between 6am and 10pm.
