About The Role

A welcoming, community‑focused Lambeth primary school is seeking a dedicated Primary Class Teacher to cover a Year 3 maternity position from January. This well‑organised, 2‑form entry school has strong structures, collaborative planning, and a supportive teaching team.

As the Primary Class Teacher, you will take full responsibility for the Year 3 class, delivering high‑quality teaching, maintaining strong behaviour expectations, and ensuring pupils make consistent progress across spring and summer terms. You will work closely with the parallel class teacher, benefiting from shared planning and a clear curriculum framework.

Ideal Candidate

• Recent KS2 teaching experience, ideally in Year 3
• Confidence with planning, assessment, and whole‑class teaching
• Strong behaviour management and a calm classroom presence
• Works well within a team and values consistency
• Holds QTS and up‑to‑date safeguarding training
