The Role
The successful Premises Assistant will support the day: to: day management and maintenance of the school site, ensuring that the buildings and grounds remain safe, secure, clean and well maintained.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Carrying out general maintenance and repairs across the school site.
- Supporting the daily opening and closing of the school premises.
- Ensuring the school buildings and grounds remain safe and presentable.
- Carrying out regular checks and reporting any issues or defects.
- Supporting health and safety procedures across the site.
- Assisting with deliveries, moving equipment and setting up rooms when required.
- Maintaining high standards across the schools facilities and outdoor areas.
- Working collaboratively with school staff and external contractors.
- Responding promptly to any premises: related issues that arise.
