Hours: Flexible working hours 4 or 5 days a week between the hours of 7am - 5pm

Our client is a respected engineering group supplying high precision components and treatments to the global aerospace sector. With multiple sites continuing to invest in growth, technology, and people. As part of their ongoing expansion, they are now looking to welcome an experienced Mechanical Inspector to their Poole team.
The Role
- Carry out dimensional and visual inspections at goods-in, 1st off, pre-treatment, FAIR and final stages
- Identify, label and contain non-conforming parts, raising NRCs in line with internal procedures
- Communicate product or process issues quickly to the quality and production teams
- Complete FAIRs accurately and in accordance with customer and company requirements
- Use customer-specific inspection systems and software
- Raise purchase orders for subcontract work when required
- Prepare and sign off certificates of conformity
- Contribute to RCCA and 8D investigations when needed
About You
- Background in mechanical inspection within an aerospace or precision engineering environment
- Strong attention to detail with high standards of accuracy and process control
- Confident interpreting technical drawings and inspection documentation
- Proactive, organized and comfortable working with structured quality systems
